Instructions for Mixing up Dry Milk Powder

Whole Milk weights are the same as skim and 2%. There is also weight listed for those who prefer to use pounds.
The table above will help you determine the amount of powdered milk you will need to prepare for a specific measurement of liquid milk. Here are some helpful hints for mixing up the powered milk.

  1. Use cool water when possible. The powder tends to dissolve more readily in cool water.

  2. You can use a blender or hand mixer to mix up the powder, this works best to dissolve any clumps.

  3. Chill the milk after mixing in a refrigerator.

  4. Best to let set for 12 hours for best flavor.

  5. After chilled remove and enjoy! The milk is great-tasting and can be used straight or mixing into other ingredients.
